Derived from the legendary 2005–2008 GSX-R1000—winner of multiple championships—the GSX-S series brings the spirit of the Suzuki GSX-R to the street, with shared technology and components adapted to a chassis designed specifically for riding comfort.

With the legendary heritage of the GSX-R family, the GSX-S1000 was born to deliver heart-pounding performance every time you hit the road. The GSX-S1000 is powered by a 999 cc inline four-cylinder engine based on the long-stroke engine of the GSX-R1000, providing ideal power and torque curves for street riding. Built primarily to deliver strong power in the low-to-mid rpm range, this engine uses optimized camshafts for dominant street performance.

This ground-attacking power is paired with Suzuki’s Advanced Traction Control System*, Brembo brakes, and standard ABS. The 2024 GSX-S1000 is a street motorcycle that delivers serious performance in all conditions. Its wild and aggressive styling completes the package, offering a stripped-down street machine ready to dominate the streets. 

*The Traction Control System is not a substitute for the rider’s throttle control. It cannot prevent loss of traction due to excessive speed when entering a turn or applying the brakes, nor can it prevent front-wheel traction loss.
