We are looking for a qualified and experienced mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair machines and vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical systems.
An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with a variety of machines and tools and follow all safety precautions.
Mechanic’s responsibilities
- Inspect machines, engines, transmissions, etc. and run diagnostic tests to detect functional problems
- Carry out repairs to ensure maximum reliability
Qualification requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic
- Excellent knowledge of electrical and other machines and systems and their components
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools and precision measuring tools
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and to read instructions, drawings, etc.
- Strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Very good physical strength and stamina
- High school diploma preferred; certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is an asset
